Greek culture is considered Caucasian today but began as a native population culturally tied to Africa. After the initial native settlement of Greece, the second wave of African colonization begins during the Bronze Age. It brings a rebirth of art and culture to the area. Unfortunately, any conclusive record of African transmission has yet to be recovered.
The records containing the founding kings of Ahhiyawa, Greece, mysteriously vanished during Greece's "Dark Ages." Even though intentional cultural vandalism destroyed any hope of reconstructing ancient African Greece, there are hints and clues left in artifacts and literature.
Sacred Blood links these remnants together and breathes new life into old myths.
What do we know of Helen of Troy? Actually, we know very little. In the rewrite of history, Homer only concentrates on one part of her life and strangely ignores the forces that shaped her and her family's life before the Trojan War.
Homer defames Helen by portraying her as a pawn caught in political conflict instead of a Queen valiantly struggling as a self-determined female ruler. However, when Helen's tale is fleshed out, her behavior can be recognized as following the feminine self-determination demanded by the Eye of Ra.
However, on return after the destruction of Troy, she has a second daughter, this time by Menelaus. When Hermione finally reaches the age of marriage, a struggle ensues. Ledaea reveals the curse that the family is under. It’s a secret she has kept for many years, but in order to get Hermione to consent to an arranged marriage, she and her daughter must "flee" one more time so she can tell of how the Trojan War began.
