Jamey Brodie

Jamey Brodie

ByDonald G. Freeman

For some reason Hacker Valley, West Virginia was a neutral zone during the Civil War. The armies of the North and the South ignored the area and farmers of the valley sold their crops to both sides. Jamey Brodie, the son of a prominent farmer, disappears on his way home from college and suffers from amnesia. His father sets out to find him and runs into endless obstacles and danger. Jamey in the meantime encounters the perils of war, starvation in a prison camp and near death in a raging river. He has but one tie to his past, a picture of his beautiful Carla.
