The Latin-only edition of the Psalterium Romanum, containing the psalter as it was prayed for countless centuries in the Western Church, was codified by St. Pius V after the council of Trent, and was used continuously until 1911. Containing the psalter, the approved litanies, prayers before and after Communion, brief rubrics, and an explanation of praying Compline. A treasure for those who may not have time to pray the entire Office, but still wish to join in the perennial prayer of the Church.
