A lifelong science fiction fan and collector, I read the classics of fiction by the masters of the art, along with Tom Swift, E.E. Doc Smith, traveled distant worlds and futures, followed the adventures of Doc Savage, Perry Rhodan, Buck Rogers, Captain James T. Kirk to name a few. Then traveled to the future with H.G. Wells. Traveled under the sea with Captain Nemo, studied the three laws of robotics. I tried to give my story a historic feel as of the masters of the past, with the hope for a better future for all mankind. Most of today's stories have a darker feel and I wanted a lighter storyline to provide a positive attitude and outlook. On the romantic side, I am inspired by a variety of topics for writing poetry. They range from love poetry, those of more emotional content, some with a political statement in line, a few displaying the spiritual side of my nature, and finally a number of seasonal poems.
