In My Life, A Book of Poetry

"In My Life, A Book of Poetry", has allowed me to express through my poetry, how a lifetime of experiences; some good and some not so good, but all never-the-less have shaped my life, my thoughts about my life, and my belief in God. Each episode in my life served to affirmed some things for me; affirmation that God is real and that he is concerned about me and what's going on in my life; affirmation, that even in sorrow, beauty can manifest itself, if given the opportunity; and affirmation, that what I've gone through has served to increased my faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is my hope that after reading the background and circumstances behind how I came to write each poem, the reader will come away with encouragement to have faith and to be secure in knowing that Jesus is with him or her, no matter how dark the times may be in his or her life.
