The Minimalization of the Gospel

There is a growing movement a foot within the American church today to exhort believers to utilize socio-political activism to both counter vanishing religious freedoms and to fight the growing threat of Christian persecution. However, this emotionally held conviction that there is an inherent mandate from God requiring all those who adhere to the Christian faith to utilize socio-political activism to change the world is simply unfounded.
