The Adventures of Joe Roberts of Belize

Follow Joe Roberts, an experienced sailor from British Honduras and a fisherman by profession, through adventures that highlight the sights and sounds of a bygone time. Joe’s escapades take him from his home in Belize to the cayes and reefs in the Caribbean Sea that he so loves, and on occasional forays upcountry, dutifully accompanying his beloved wife, Daisy, to visit her relatives in the inland that he barely tolerates. The events of this novel and its cast of characters reflect the author's experiences in Belize and on St. George’s Caye and the people he came to know there during summer vacations with his maternal grandparents, whose families had left England and Scotland in the 1800’s to make their homes in British Honduras.
