As you start reading this book, realize that it is ‘fresh manna’ rather than a repeat of the past. Some of what you read may sound similar, but there will be much fresh revelation and the unveiling of understanding brought in the chapters of this book. The book of Proverbs instructs us to seek after understanding and spiritual knowledge. The reason is that it brings great protection and much confidence for the seeker. Some of what is contained in this book might cause the reader to ‘squirm’ a bit, but when we hear fresh revelation it brings greater awakening and deeper experience.
