Assyrian Writing Lessons in Seven Days

This book is a collection of the Writing Lessons that were prepared for adults for the HAT (Home Assyrian Teaching) group on Facebook. It is assumed that students already know how to read the letters and are familiar with pronunciations of letters and vowels in Assyrian language. Those who don’t should first consult and study the book entitled ‘Assyrian Reading Lessons in Six Days’, which is available on www.lulu.com. Each writing lesson includes exercises. The students should do them to practice writing. The words used in this book have already appeared in ‘Assyrian Reading Lessons in Six Days’, which were taken from the Dictionary of the Assyrian Language by Alexander J. Oraham. The spelling of some of these words may not be correct and certain words may be foreign words which were commonly used in the dialect of Urmia.
