Dear All, The Taliban have ordered an illegal, indefinite ban on university education for women and secondary schooling for girls; which is a blatant violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The UN Security Council has called on the Taliban to reverse policies targeting women and girls in Afghanistan, expressing alarm at the increasing erosion of Human Rights. UN Secretary General António Guterres echoed the security council’s message, calling the latest restrictions on women and girls unjustifiable human rights violations that must be revoked. The High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, also warned of the terrible consequences such policies would have: “No country can develop – indeed survive – socially and economically with half its population excluded.” We order the Taliban to reverse this reckless and dangerous decision that bans women from working for aid agencies and charities. Terrorism has also increased in the region since the Taliban has taken over, and Afghanistan is suffering from unprecedented and rising humanitarian needs. Hence it is imperative that we restore the UN Charter in Afghanistan - in particular university education for women and secondary school education for girls. PS: As it stands the Taliban and IS-K are responsible for gender violence, terrorism and tyranny in Afghanistan. Hence the IPA - together with António Guterres, Volker Türk, Mohammed bin Salman, Donald Trump, Charles III and Andreas Babler - will handle policy in the region until Human Rights and Gender Equality are restored. The Global Community stands in solidarity with Afghanistan against violent extremism, torture and gender-based apartheid. Love and Light. NAWROZ MUBARAK الله يبارك ☮️⚖️☪️🕊️ IPA - UNITED NATIONS 🇺🇳☯️🕊️- ÖVP/SPÖ/GREENS - THE CROWN Mark ☯️🕋🇦🇹🇺🇳 Kate, Alexander Van der Bellen, Andreas Babler (SPÖ), Leonore, Beate, Volker Türk 🇺🇳 Shehbaz Sharif, António Guterres 🇺🇳 Fritz Merz 🇩🇪 Charles III. HIS MAHDI THE EXPECTED ONE ٱلْمَهْدِيّ 🕋 PS: More and more Afghan girls are using everyday items to end their lives and commit suicide; due to severe oppression and abuse by the Taliban regime. Hence it is imperative that the UN Charter is restored in Afghanistan. Pakistan - which shares a common culture, religion and border with Afghanistan - should take the lead, to restore Human Rights, and prevent terrorism and forced migration into Pakistan.
