Healing France – Restoring the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in the French Republic

"Villette" (1853) / By Charlotte Brontë (1816 - 1855) This is a novel about France/Belgium in the 1840's. It's initially set in the English countryside, and later follows Lucy Snowe, the main character to the fictional town of Villette, a Gothic town where the majority of the action takes place. Villette is modelled upon the city of Brussels and is set in the fictional French-speaking kingdom of Labassecour (modelled on Belgium). Lucy is the narrator and main character of Villette. A quiet, self-reliant, intelligent, 23-year-old woman. Though usually reserved and emotionally self-controlled, Lucy has strong feelings and affections for those whom she really values. She even sincerely cares for the giddy Ginevra - a beautiful, but superficial and vain English blonde. Ginevra thinks of Lucy as "caustic, ironic, and cynical," calling her "old lady," "dear crosspatch," and most frequently "Timon" (after a Greek misanthrope who lived during the 5th century BC). So this is certainly a cool book which I can recommend :) Indeed, my girl Lucy from MI6, also liked this book very much. Her only criticism is, that the book highlights not enough the socioeconomic failings of Europe; which where a big problem in the 19th century. Indeed, even to this day, People are still dependent on the good will of the establishment, that deprives honest and decent folks of basic necessities, such as a Basic Income Guarantee (BIG), if they do not fall in line with the corrupt political establishment. Hence a revolution is necessary; to manifest Equality, Equity, Human Rights and a Basic Income Guarantee (BIG). We would like to remind all People in the Global Community, that the importance of belonging to Humanity takes precedence over all the marks of distinction that may separate one person from another. The thing that matters most is not that we have any particular cultural or national identity, or that we abide by any particular religion or philosophical conviction, but that we share with all People the highest values of Humanity: Love, Cooperation and Compassion. Love and Light / Dieu vous Mark PS: We are not expecting much of journalists and public broadcasters in the EU and UK - such as the BBC, The Guardian and Le Monde - as it's pretty evident from their mediocre writing, that they are just interested to collect their paychecks :) It would seem that English and French writers are afraid to take on the corrupt establishment, as they are rather easily intimidated.
