Healing Myanmar – Restoring Rule of Law, Justice and Democracy in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Dear All,
Due to Gen Min Aung Hlaing's tyranny and oppression, Myanmar needs protection by the NGO Community.
Myanmar has one of the worst human rights records in the world; due to Min Aung Hlaing's despotic dictatorship.
Aung San Suu Kyi, leader of the NLD Party - which won a landslide election victory in 2020 - was arrested on 1 February 2021, following an illegal military takeover.
Aung San Suu Kyi's unlawful imprisonment is a travesty of justice; perpetrated by Min Aung Hlaing and his henchmen.
A tragic testament of Myanmar’s ongoing military repression and impunity, the military has sent a wave of bloodshed through the country; killing 8,000 civilians and 165 Children since the military illegally seized power.
Min Aung Hlaing is responsible for systematic violence, assassinations, arbitrary detentions and the killings of Children.
UN Chief António Guterres has demanded that the Myanmar junta immediately returns to democracy, saying it was the only way to stop the unending nightmare engulfing the country.
Myanmar’s military has razed villages, has bombed hospitals, schools and even a concert. An estimated 1.3 million people are displaced and living in horrific conditions.
Detainees have been subjected to torture and mistreatment; including beatings, rape and prolonged stress positions.
The UN Human Rights chief, Volker Türk, said that the regime was using the death penalty to crush political opposition.
"The Myanmar regime’s brutal violence against civilians and its denial of life-saving humanitarian aid reflect utter contempt for Humanity”, the UN Human Rights Chief told the Human Rights Council.
Hence the International Criminal Court (ICC) must bring Min Aung Hlaing to Justice, to restore Human Rights and International Law in Myanmar.
NB: As it stands Aung San Suu Kyi’s "partial pardon" is meaningless; because she will be kept in detention until she is more than 100 years old, if she lives that long.
The Burmese military must release all detainees, relinquish the power they have illegally seized and recognize the duly elected parliament from 2021 - so that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and Child Rights (UNCRC) can be restored in Myanmar.
Love and Light / Peace Profound.

"‘We have to win’: Myanmar protesters persevere as forces ramp up violence" / Violent scenes play out across country as police crack down against peaceful protesters“They do not have any consideration for the innocent children who they are killing”“If no one helps us, the world will have another North Korea.”The fight for democracy must continue, said Ye Swan Htet. The “finish line” is close, he added: “We are all risking our lives for the country, so that we can achieve true democracy.”By early evening, most protesters in Yangon had gone home, vowing to return tomorrow.Communities plastered pictures of military ruler Min Aung Hlaing’s face to the road, to be stamped on by passersby. Beside his image, a message read: “We will never forgive you.”" 'Myanmar is like a battlefield': UN says at least 18 dead as security forces fire on protesters" / Police and troops crack down on rallies held across the country in defiance of juntaOn Sunday 28th Februrary at least 18 people have been killed, after security forces in Myanmar used lethal violence against anti-coup protesters in the most deadly crackdown since the military seized power at the start of FebruaryLive bullets, stun grenades and teargas were fired at demonstrators in several towns and cities as police, backed by troops, attempted to stamp out countrywide rallies held in defiance of the junta. At least 18 people are believed to have been killed, and 30 injured, according to the UN human rights office – which is unacceptable! It should be noted, that Gen. Min Aung Hlaing and his deputy army commander, Soe Win, are responsible for these killings. Therefore the International Community must come together in one voice to press the Burmese military to immediately relinquish the power they have illegally seized, so that rule of law and fundamental human rights can be restored in Myanmar.Gen. Min Aung Hlaing and his commanders must immediately and unconditionally release all detainees, rescind the state of emergency, and recognize the duly elected parliament; so that rule of law, justice and democracy can be restored in Myanmar!"Hong Kong: 47 key activists charged with subversion and face life if convicted" / Pro-democracy group accused of organising unofficial election last July in largest crackdown on campaignersNearly every main voice of dissent in Hong Kong is now in jail or exile, after Hong Kong police charged 47 pro-democracy campaigners and politicians with conspiracy to commit subversion.“Prisons can isolate us, but they cannot stop us from connecting with each other and taking care of each other; chains can lock our bodies but can’t hold our minds and souls!“Stay calm and carry on. This too shall pass! Remember: it is not hope to hold on, it is persistence to have hope!”So my dear friend Mr. John Lee, the Secretary for Security in Hong Kong - who used to be a British National - implemented this latest crackdown in Hong Kong to silence critics and strip people of their right to political participation. This was a very unwise and unjust thing to do by my British friend John Lee, as these arrests are in blatant violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Hong Kong’s Basic Law; that serves as the de facto constitution of the Hong KongHowever, I'm sure we will manifest democratic freedoms and universal suffrage in Hong Kong - and the rest of China - eventually; barring any further counter-proctuctive bollocks by the British :)Last week, the CPC government in Beijing announced rules requiring all politicians and candidates to pledge an oath of loyalty to the rule of the Chinese Communist party and swear not to act against the government, or face disqualification.Officials said the new laws would ensure that only “patriots” could govern Hong Kong, with one spelling out that patriotism meant loyalty to the Communist party. It should also be noted China did not invent Communism. Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels did; and the CPC corrupted their altruistic theories into an evil apparatus, to silence critics and strip people of their right to political participation.Which of course Karl Marx and Engels - the founders of communism - never intended, as the political movement which they created leaned very much towards democratic freedoms and universal suffrage. In particular, the late Chinese communist leader Mao Zedong is responsible of misusing and perverting the altruistic work of Karl Marx which promoted very much civil liberties. So even to this day President Xi Jinping is following the negative legacy of Mao Zedong, by refusing to allow democratic freedoms and universal suffrage to the people of Hong Kong and the rest of China. So shame on my comrade President Xi Jinping and my British friend John Lee for trying to eradicate freedom of speech and freedom of assembly in Hong Kong as these fundamental human rights are already part of Hong Kong's soul and heart. Therefore it is imperative that Carrie Lam and President Xi Jinping resolve the situation in Hong Kong humanely and in accordance with International Human Rights Law – by finally implementing democratic freedoms and universal suffrage in China. As the people in Hong Kong have persistently and collectively showed the world that there was something that cannot be crushed by guns, tanks, and prisons; that is the human spirit for truth and justice!Healing Russian-American relationsThe Moscow Times: "Putin, Biden Should Aim for More Arms Curbs – Gorbachev"Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev on Saturday urged Russian President Vladimir Putin and new U.S. President Joe Biden to push for deeper restrictions on nuclear weapons. So I think this is certainly a step in the right direction as multi-lateral nuclear disarmament is very important in the International Community.Healing Russia" ‘They Will Break You’: Inside Navalny’s Notorious New Prison Home"In conversations with The Moscow Times, former inmates of the jail where Navalny will serve his time spoke of psychological isolation and harsh conditions.Four former inmates of penal colony IK-2 — which Russian state media have identified as the institution where the opposition leader will do his time — told The Moscow Times that it is one of Russia’s toughest prisons.Pyotr Kuryanov, a lawyer at the Defence of Prisoners' Rights Foundation NGO said he was shocked when he first heard the news that Navalny was to be transferred to the Vladimir prison.“The conditions were certainly grim there. The prison is next to a swamp, it is cold and wet with bad food. It was a violent place back then.”“I was forbidden to talk to other inmates, they were forbidden to look at me, my hands were always behind my back when I was out of my cell. It was forbidden to attend the local prison church, to do any sporting activities.”Therefore it is in President Putin's best interest to release Mr. Navalny from this cruel prison so that his legacy will be that of a kind and just Russian President..President Putin and the Kremlin should release Alexei Navalny and allow him to run for election – as Alexej Nawalnyj very much symbolises positive change and political progress in today’s Russia.Hopefully President Vladimir Putin will realise this, that having Alexei Navalny in the country is not a liability, but rather a big asset so that democratic freedoms and political participation can finally be manifested in Mother Russia.Healing China / Upholding the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in China and the CPC [Communist Party of China]"Hong Kong defendants taken away by ambulance during marathon bail hearing" / At least four people charged with national security offences taken to hospital after long court delays"American lawyer arrested by Hong Kong police in national security crackdown" / John Clancey, the chairman of the Asian Human Rights Commission, detained on day that saw dozens of pro-democracy activists arrestedSo as a fellow Marxist and Communist, I think it would be the best to shut down the Communist Party of China for blatantly violating the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and stripping people of their right to political participation in China.GUARDIAN: "Aung San Suu Kyi given partial pardon by Myanmar junta" / A lawyer representing Aung San Suu Kyi has previously described the cases as absurd. The UN security council has called for her release; which the Myanmar junta should comply with.Domestic policy Foreign policy and Human Rights concerning Myanmar will be handled by the NGO BTB-Global Peacebuilding; until the UDHR and UNCRC has been restored in Myanmar. Love and Light, Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar - MarkREUTERS: "In a rebel-held Myanmar town fragile unity pushes junta to the brink" / GUARDIAN: "People flee to Thailand amid intense fighting in Myanmar" / Hence Min Aung Hlaing must be brought to Justice; to restore Democracy in Myanmar. / IPA - UN
