Practical Manual on Correctional Services - Guide for Nigeria Prisons

With over 50,000 Nigerians awaiting trial despite the passage of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) 2015 which, among other purposes, aims at speedy trial and decongesting Nigerian prisons; the decision of President Muhammadu Buhari on the 14th of August 2019 to sign the Nigerian Correctional Service Act, which repealed the Prisons Act, had been heralded as the solution to Nigeria custodial challenges.
