Involvement is defined as physical and mental ability of a student towards a particular academic task. An involved student for instance, dedicates impressive vitality to examining invests much energy in grounds, partakes effectively in all institutional activities and interfaces as often as possible with faculty and other students. On the other hand, an uninvolved student's disregard examines invest little energy in grounds, swears off extracurricular exercises and have no successive contact with faculty as an involved student.
Involvement in studies leads to enjoyment of living which leads to longer retention and better understanding which in turn results in better achievement. Involvement in studies can be improved by adopting different strategies in learning for example following suitable study habits, suitable method of teaching, development of right LSRW skills, correct way of memorizing, management of stress, inculcating self-discipline and a strong urge to learn. Study involvement can be improved by learning effectively. The path for most effective learning is through:
1. Knowing our self.
2. Knowing our capacity to learn.
3. Following the processes which we had successfully used in the past.
4. Our interest and the knowledge of the subject we wish to learn.
