‘Critical Essays –Plays of T.P.Kailasam’ is a collection of essays on the five published plays of T.P.Kailasam – the internationally famed Indian English dramatist. The versatile bilingual playwright is deeply influenced by the epic traditions of the country. The Ramayana and the Mahabharata are his guiding principles. The present book by Dr. Prafull D.Kulkarni is an attempt to explore the thematic presentations of these epics on the English stage by the dramatist in the light of social equality and his understanding of human being as an entity.
