Common Antelope in Africa

An illustrated childrens' book

ByDr. Ross Gordon Cooper

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Antelope are a special family of buck that spend their time mostly in herds in the grasslands of Africa. They have extremely beautiful coats and their long slim, hoofed legs allow them to run very fast. They have nice big eyes and an impressive set of horns. They make good mothers (does) and their young are never far away. Their fathers (buck) protect the herds from any danger and fend off rivals. They provide food for a number of carnivores including lions, leopards and cheetahs. Without the antelope life could not properly exist in nature and they form an important part of grassland ecology. In this book selected antelope are described and they have each been given a special name. It is hoped that this book will prove interesting and informative.
