Fuel Cell Systems

Energy demand is growing voraciously. In order to secure a good future for the present generation as well as the next ones, the current energy emissions should be reduced and the energy production should be based on renewable energy sources. Use of batteries creates large and expensive logistical footprints while diesel generators are noisy, maintenance intensive, and consume large amounts of fossil fuels. Recent advances in fuel cells have made this form of energy a potential source for the generation of electricity. The potential advantages of a fuel cell for providing energy include: low acoustic and thermal signatures, reduced maintenance, reduced weight, reduced volume, and environmentally beneficial.
