This research aimed to study the influence of interpersonal emotion regulation on the work performance of information technology employees. This chapter elaborately explains the selected study variables, back ground of the study, Problem statements, Research gap, Objectives of the study, Limitations of the study, and Chapterization of the study. Interpersonal emotion regulations is the process in which the information technology employees makes efforts to adopt the best or suitable interpersonal emotion regulating strategies to change the emotional experience of another individual. Further Ayse Altan-Atalay (2019) referred interpersonal emotion regulation as group of emotion regulation strategies that involve utilization of other people with the purpose of modifying the emotional process that one is going through.
