When China wakes up, the world will tremble

Now that it is expected that China is further opening its doors to the West, the Great Wall - being a metaphor for Chinese restrictive governmental policies towards the West - is cracking piece-meal. Through the reforming of its economy, China moves away from its production oriented economy towards a market oriented environment. For any type of business it is important to see how this process of relocation is proceeding, or, to rephrase the issue, why the liberalisation of the Chinese economy has proceeded in such a typical “Chinese” way.
