Recovering From Addiction When You Don't Believe in the God of the Bible

This booklet is for people who: Are alcoholics or addicts Have either joined or wish to join a step-based program that instructs them to depend on a higher power Are not believers in Christianity, Judaism, or Islam and Do not identify as people who believe in a god or higher power. This booklet is NOT for people who: Are hoping that this booklet actually tells them how to overcome addiction. That would be a much longer book. The purpose of this booklet is to explain to those who don't regard themselves as believers in a god how they can still participate in a step-based program that is based on belief in a higher power. That done, it will be left to the experienced leaders of the step-based programs to explain to you how you can recover from addiction.
