Butterflies and Dragons

Before there were huge dragons with big bellies, and that flew and breathed fire, dragons were no larger than the largest of hummingbirds. Before butterflies were tiny, colorful, flittering and fluttering things of beauty, they were big enough for humans to ride. Then the meteor came, occupied by The Dark Ones set on taking this world for themselves. In the ensuing confrontation was marked in history the beginning of large fire-breathing flying dragons, Great Bears more than 20-feet tall, a huntress and new-found friend from the fields who both lost their families to tragedy. Oh, and butterflies stopped growing big enough for humans to ride. This is an illustrated novel. Not extensively illustrated, but with enough pictures to give even the most unimaginative a head start into a whole new perspective on Butterflies and Dragons.
