I’ve spent the last...well, I won’t say exactly how long (but trust me, it’s a while)...tasting, experimenting and documenting. Many of the recipes you’ll find in the following pages are not original creations--they’re simply what worked. Some were passed down from my parents; some are recipes from friends that impressed me time after time. Others are recipes found in magazines and clipped from newspapers that I tested and immediately loved...or doctored up to create winners. This cookbook is my life journey, so far, in food.
