Life after the Great War in 1918 was not so easy for military men in Britain. Major Snowdon Le Cornu was dismissed from the RAF immediately after demobilisation. On the 1st of January 1919, he was a civilian once again, just like thousands of other ex-military men. There were thousands who, just a short while before had been living on their nerves.
