Derek Anderson was a bright, young, outgoing, self-confident college student. As he approached graduation, his confidence had grown to a point where he felt he could convince people to buy something they didn’t think they wanted. Claire Hart was his opposite in many ways. A shy, introverted young woman who preferred her privacy, Claire was most comfortable alone or in very small groups of people. Bob Fender, on the other hand, did everything he could to call attention to himself while he was making a fortune in the automobile business. When fate brought the three together on a flight to Mexico, Fender was very impressed with Derek Anderson and invited him to be a part of his business. When a new graduate accepts a job offer, life changes forever. Derek Anderson’s new job working for Fender not only changed his life, it nearly ended it. Plaid Sport Coat is the story of how Derek and Claire struggled to stay a step ahead of people who wanted to cause them harm.
