Edward Lining Manigault, Jr. has compiled this book covering previous and recently discovered information about the genealogy of the Manigault Family of South Carolina. This information starts with data from “The Manigault Pedigree” which was originally created January 5, 1884 by Louis Manigault (1828-1899). The author’s father, Edward Lining Manigault, expanded Louis’ “Pedigree” to add other ancestral lines including his mother’s lineage, the Wards of Brook Green Plantation. The book begins with twelve generations of ancestors of his father and also includes eight generations of descendants of Pierre Manigault, “The Immigrant” (1664-1729).
