Documented Discrepancies between the Majority Text/Textus Receptus and the Critical Text Editions Underlying Modern Bible Versions: ESV Version
This ebook may not meet accessibility standards and may not be fully compatible with assistive technologies.
A detailed, 56-page, image-enhanced, scholarly comparison of the KJV, Byzantine (Majority) Text and Textus Receptus Greek source texts versus the Alexandrian text-type and modern "pseudo-Bibles" produced since the 1881 English Revised Version (ERV or "RV"). Selected verse-by-verse comparisons reveal numerous doctrinal and other errors appearing in modern Bibles, based on the NA-UBS critical textual apparatuses, which, in turn, were founded upon a paucity of older, ancient koine (common) Greek New Testament manuscripts. Compares the KJV and source texts with the ESV, NASB and NIV versions, and their virtually identical underlying Greek sources, in parallel columns, plus an adjacent "problems" column. Includes 34 pages of verse/passage comparisons and analysis, a preface, explanatory notes (four pages), document glossary (10 pages), conclusion, endnotes, suggested reading and colophon (about the author, etc.). Seven-plus years have been invested in education and production.
