Flatland: An Adventure in Many Dimensions (the poorman's version)

A 2024 translation of Edwin Abbot Abbot's 1884 novel Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions, telling the story of the anonymous A. Square, who lives in a world of 2D geometric figures, and is given the revelation by a 3D Sphere that higher Dimensions exist. Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions was written as both scathing political commentary, criticizing the systems of oppression in Victorian England, and as an introduction to the concept of higher dimensions, and some basic Geometry lessons. This translation was made with the goal of allowing more modern audiences to enjoy this classic story without getting bogged down or confused by the old-fashioned language and sentence structure.
