The Occasions of Air, Fire, Water, Earth

"The Occasions of Air, Fire, Water, Earth" is the second book of poems by Manila-based poet Edwin M. Cordevilla. His first book published and released in 2000 was entitled, "Phoenix and Other Poems" and his third book is the epic poem, "Ten Thousand Lines Project For World Peace." The poems in "The Occasions of Air, Fire, Water, Earth," were selected among those written by Cordevilla from 2001 to 2010. In an art forum, the author described his passion for poetry as his communion with the universal soul and with the common man as well. "Poetry appreciation is a blessing from the heavens above that should not be confined among the elites, but should be relished by, as much as possible, everyone," Cordevilla stated.
