My husband and I are true New Englanders. We live in a log cabin in a tiny N. H. town that doesn't even have a stop light. We are both from small towns but our roots are deep. One of my husband's great grandfather's married the granddaughter of William Bradford. Through the Bradford line he is related to so many accomplished people it is hard to keep track of them. It took me longer to climb my family tree. To my surprise I discovered I was related to H. W Longfellow, Aaron Burr & one of my greatgrandmother's was a great aunt to Louisa May Alcott. After buying an old newspaper at a auction I was amazed at all the information it contained so I collected more. I started writing down some of the more interesting stories for my family to read. That led to my first book. Most of the people I write about can be found on ancestry sites. I was so glad to find the newspaper about Aaron Burr, & throughly enjoyed compling the information about him. I'm always working on another book.
