It's the mid-1980s in Tokyo and three childhood friends - Yuuji, Ryuuichi, and Takuya - are figuring out how to juggle the pressures of high school and approaching adulthood, while keeping up the one hobby they've always had in common - playing music together. They have plans to perform at their last school fall festival together, and it looks briefly like they're finally set to have a vocalist when Ryuuichi reveals by accident that he has all the potential to be an amazing lead singer. But Ryuuichi, saddled with anxiety and bad memories related to singing in public, refuses the position. Fortunately, a new transfer student arrives at school, forming a friendship with the band, and bringing with him new inspiration and opportunities...as well as an interesting secret. Collects chapters 16-20 of Boku no Kokoro no Ongaku (Music of My Heart), plus bonus material.
