Intended to inspire, Far from the Pantheon and Other Poems is a collection of 48 pieces written with mostly dark humor and sad irony by Elijah Cross. In his note to the reader, he writes, "If you find yourself saying, 'This is me right now' as you read [this]...identify with the themes, but know that it doesn’t have to be the way it is right now."
