Aging Out

Aging Out focuses on, and is written out of, the province of Alberta, and explores the difficulties found in the foster care system, with a targeted emphasis on youth who age out of the system. In 2011, foster care in Canada held jurisdiction over approximately 47,885 children. Foster care data are often bleak, but the optimism of our future generations is as bright and clear as an open prairie sky.
