An Accidental Brush With History

In her letters and diaries, written during her time in pre-war Germany,twenty-year-old Elizabeth Marshall unconsciously traces the growth of Nazism as it affected everyday life. She witnessed Nazi parades and propaganda and the on-set of anti-Semitism. Her words written at the time of the events reveal an experience almost lost to the contemporary reading public.
