Alaskan Adventures

ByElizabeth WyldBrian Wyld

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
The mythical Alaska Highway, built during WWII to link the US and Canada and send equipment to the Russians, runs through some of the most rugged landscape in the world. Along the way it passes through towns made famous by the Yukon gold rush, and gold can still be found in the rivers and gravel beds. Taking a drive in a camper van along this highway in the summer to see the mountains and their glaciers up close, as well as the historical remains from the gold rush era seems simple enough, but this is still a place where nature will surprise you... A personal journal from an amateur adventurer.
