Three Families…Lola’s Courageous Life Journey
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
In her 92 years, thru happiness, hard times, good times and sorrow, Lola displays the love and humor that shapes many lives. Seven year old Lola and her family make the long journey from the plains of Kansas for a new life in the unknown Pacific Northwest. In Seattle where Lola grew up she surrounds herself with many friends who enjoyed life and loved to laugh. She fell in love with her college sweetheart but Hitler’s march thru Europe and a call from Uncle Sam took priority. Lola’s dad was a minister and managed to help the frazzled couple get married. After a brief honeymoon the happy couple had to say goodbye and Lola returned to teaching as the only teacher in a rural school south of Seattle. As the war dragged on the little family grew to four until Daddy became a casualty in France. Four years later the war widowed Lola remarries and the little family of three eventually grows to eleven.
