Ice Age Fossils in Worcester City Museums' Natural History Collection

The Ice Age was a period in the Earth's history where ice sheets advanced and retreated over the landscape. The fossilised remains of animals from this time such as woolly mammoths, woolly rhinoceros and hippopotamus have been found in Worcester and the surrounding areas.
