Japanese Yoga: Genkikai

Japanese Yoga: Genkikai

ByEric Graf

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
The goals of Japanese Yoga - Genkikai are relaxation, breathing and mediation. These expressions are so often used today that one scarcely takes notice of them. One must experience them in order to discover them. This book differentiates between three gymnastic forms: The standing gymnastics-Aikido, the sitting and lying forms of gymnastics. The latter two forms and their connection to Aikido are the concern of this book. Sequences of motion performed in sitting or lying positions comprise a cycle that one can repeat at will (ideally once a day). Genkikai is a compilation, the creation of which we owe to, Master Masatomi Ikeda (7. Dan in Aikikai Aikido, 5. Dan in Sumo und 4. Dan im Judo), born in Tokyo on 8. April 1940.
