The 25th Symphony, in g minor K. 183 (K6 173dB), is certainly one of the most important and well known youth works composed by Mozart (also because of its being the initial soundtrack of the renowned movie "Amadeus" by Milos Forman). The "Allegro con brio" hereby transcribed takes the role of the "Allegro Spiritoso" of the previous Symphonies. The key generating cell of the page is the syncopated rhythm which creates a rhythmical boost which pervades all the movement. This brings to a short theme which is presented several times and then re-presented and variated by the oboe in a melancholy and delicate way. In all the movement the rhythm keeps on quite tightly and seems to anticipate the taste for Turkish-like-style which will be developed in the next works.
