Tchaikovsky Ballet Music 3 Transcriptions Organ
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
These Transcriptions from Tchaikovsky entail some of the most beautiful pages of his Ballets adapted to the organ. The Ballet is perhaps one of the most representative genres for his musical concept. The elegance, the refinement in the orchestration, the absolute formal mastery (from the smallest to the most developed structure) are hereby represented at the highest level. Curiously, these pages were performed outside the Russian borders only a long time after the composer’s death.
This volumes include pages extracted by the following Ballets: The Swan Lake (1875-1876), first performance at Bol'šoj theatre on March, 4th 1877; The Sleeping Beauty (1888-1889), first performance at Mariinskij theatre in St.Petersburg on January,15th 1890; The Nutcracker (1891-1892), first performance at Mariinskij theatre in St.Petersburg on December,18th1892.
