A slayer vs. vampire romp, full of romance and offbeat humor. By sheer luck, young Joachim Renslauers slays a vampire that attacks him, and thus becomes a person of interest for The Prince of Darkness. He gets help in staying alive from a suspicious stranger, who eventually reveals himself as Pope Pius III. Unfortunately Pius III died almost ninety years before Renslauer was born. That sucks!
