A future history of the state of Englnd, formerly part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, at the time of the millenia of the last successful invasion of that State. It is the story of the interaction of two final year students with the family of an ambitious EU commissioner and in particular with his scheming wife. A vision of the future, but in a lighter vein than George Orwell's 1984.
