INTRODUCTORY BIOLOGY through the African environment

Biology is a rapidly changing and interesting discipline. Attempt I'd made to produce a course which is modern and relevant to biology students. Examples have been chosen in the book to illustrate the African environment rather than rely on European fauna and flora. The coverage of the subject matter is extensive for the beginners, but the presentation has been condensed into the form of study-notes for ease and comprehension. in addition to providing a basic framework of study, the book is intended to assist student in examination revision. Biology is very wide and should undertake considerable complementary reading to explore in greater depth many of the facet, which require more detailed treatment. The aim to this book is to present biology as a continuing activity in which man tries to fund solutions to his never-ending problems.
