The event of 7/7 had policy implications on Britain’s relationship with Bangladesh which was reflected in its conduct of public diplomacy. This research intended to see how British public diplomacy activities in Bangladesh are reflected in the Bangladeshi diaspora media in the post 7/7 context and how the diaspora media evaluate them. The Bangladeshi diaspora media provide ‘due importance’ to the activities initiated by the British government in Bangladesh. In addition to that, publication or broadcast of such news also helps integration of the community into the host British society in the post 7/7 context. In this sense, British public diplomacy in Bangladesh became a tool to address the issue of integration. However, use of religious identity of diaspora for public diplomacy requires further research.
