Humanity has been interested in educating its future generations and imparting a meaningful education to children since time immemorial. As far back as the sixth century BC, the Greeks were interested in imparting an education that could equip students with generalized thinking skills as a preparation for life. The importance of a sound education has assumed an even greater importance today as society has become far more complex with specialized professions and technological advances that have had an impact on how people live or interact with the world. For meaningful learning to be made possible in children, it is important to know how children learn so that teaching can be carried out in a manner that is supportive of natural learning. This essay attempts to present a conclusion about the environment in which children learn best.
