
Internal marketing and employee satisfaction are concepts that have been demonstrated as being very useful in enhancing customer service in hotels and other service organisations. However, it is likely that the effort that is required to implement internal marketing within organisations and to enhance employee satisfaction will be influenced by the culture and peculiarities of the country within which organisations operates. This dissertation presents a discussion about internal marketing with an emphasis on its implementation in Libyan hotels. A survey of two hotels located in Libya has also been included to illustrate the diversity of the existing situation in relation to internal marketing and employee satisfaction within Libyan hotels.
