The banking sector in Kuwait has enjoyed a comfortable and highly profitable existence until recently. However, this is likely to change as licences have been granted to additional banks to operate in the prosperous, oil rich country. This essay takes a look at the forces which have shaped banking in Kuwait and attempts to present a strategy for a successful investment bank in Kuwait.
