Under the Floorboards is a mildly spooky anthology for children of all ages detailing the magical, mysterious and only occasionally mildly perilous interventions of the teriminids, the creatures who lurk and skitter beneath our floorboards, in human affairs. With their inexplicable powers to make houses refuse to be found, parents be unable to recognise plates and descant recorders to make pleasingly musical sounds, who knows what effect they will have on the people they use their magic upon?
