This is the true story of how one child struggled to keep a hold of the love she knew existed inside in spite of the loveless world around her. She dreams of flying in the dawn sky, sees her soul with wings in a corridor she has reached through a rabbit hole and knows each door in the corridor is a life she can lead. She feels "known" here, and this inner world pulls her through her outside life where she bumps along the bottom, barely able to speak. Emotional bullying and incest make life hard, but the darkness is lit with beams as if a lighthouse were showing love's direction. In the same way, everyone's life is lit if they have the eyes to see it.
