The Ituni Experience - The Trials of a Chainsaw Logger

This book reflects my personal horroring experiences in the chainsaw logging industry, operating from Ituni, Upper Demerara River, Guyana. It details interactions with Chainsaw operators, the Guyana Forestry Commission, lending institutions, money lenders, business partners, lumber dealers, politicians and of course the great people of Ituni. The logging business made an impact on the full gamut of my emotions – joy, pain, satisfaction, disappointment and despair. The journey stretched me way beyond what I thought I was capable, but greatly shaped the way I perceived life and business thereafter.
