The Confessioner's Ghost: Images of a Restless Soulscape

The photographs in this book, for the most part, strive to contrast scenes from the northeastern United States with scenes from China, Mongolia, Hong Kong, Japan, and Hawaii. The use of the word "soulscape" is employed because, as a photographer, my eye has always found fancy with the scenes in which people are dispersed in moderation, if at all. During my travels through some regions in China I tried to make a conscious effort to "look for the space," as so many images we see of that country focus on population. There is more to it than that. I have always found a separate world within photography, and these images are presented as an eclectic chef might present an unusual dish. My only confidence is that they are ready.
